Happy 1st Birthday Blog!

 

Well guy’s, I can’t quite believe Marie’s Book Boutique is a year old today! Gosh, when I started blogging, I never in my wildest dream’s thought that anyone would read the ramblings of little old me (well less of the old please Marie!!!!!) But you do and for that I’m truly blown away, every time I get a view or a visit to my blog… your amazing!!!!!! So I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your support.

I have to say a massive thank you to a lady who; one Sunday on Twitter, helped me come up with my blog name… this lovely lady is Pat Elliott! thank you Pat very much for taking the time out of your day of me, I really appreciate it immensely. She  is a truly amazing artist and author! Please go check her work out…she’s good!!!!

When I started reviewing, I was borrowing from friends and family or book’s that I had brought ( and still do now!) I never thought for one moment I would then start to receive emails requesting me to read and review books… but I did, and I feel so grateful to even be considered.

Blogging has allowed me to find my own writing voice and given me the confidence to flourish like a bed of flowers coming into bloom. I have of course learnt a lot along the way, one of which is to NOT compare myself to other bloggers. All of us are unique, individual  and above all are good at what we do. I think we should all be mighty proud of ourselves for putting our voices out there in the blogging world.

This past year in a nutshell has been hard at times, but has been bloody amazing, yet so fulfilling. I feel incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to read, review and been apart of some amazing blog tours. So thank you to everyone for taking a chance on little me, it mean’s an incredible amount!

Happy 1st Birthday Marie’s Book Boutique, you give me and continue to bring me so much joy… here’s to another year of blogging!!!!!!!!
